Biography:Education: Career: James Brady's career began while he worked his way through college as a copyboy for the New York Daily News. Then he moved to Fairchild Publications, where he served as Fairchild London Bureau Chief and European Director in Paris. Next, he became publisher for Women's Wear Daily, helping to launch W magazine. He has been editor and publisher of Harper's Bazaar, editor of the Star tabloid, editor of New York magazine, and, associate publisher of The New York Post, where he created and wrote the paper's Page Six. He holds one Emmy award and numerous Emmy nominations and has done features and interviews for WABC-TV and WCBS-TV in New York. For the past 28 years, Mr. Brady has written the column "Brady's Bunch" for Advertising Age. Mr. Brady's experience as a marine in the Korean war became the basis for his extensive series of books about the subject.
