About: Sir Peter Stothard is Editor of the Times Literary Supplement. Between 1992 and 2002 he was Editor of The Times and in 2003 he wrote Thirty Days, an account of Tony Blair in Downing Street during the Iraq War Education: Brentwood School, Essex; Trinity College, Oxford Career: Wrote for the New Statesman, New Society; joined The Sunday Times in 1978 and The Times in 1981 where he was chief leader writer, deputy editor and US editor and editor between 1992/2002; current editor of The Times Literary Supplement; also writes on British politics for The Wall Street Journal and American politics for The Times Magazine Current position/role: Editor of TLS
Other roles/Main role: Trustee of Cancerbackup, the cancer information charity, and of the Roundhouse Trust for the performing arts.
