About: Education: University of Leeds: BA Fine art; St Luke's College, University of Exeter: Teacher training - Art Career: Taught art in Birmingham for a year then became a freelance cartoonist in 1977; Time Out listings magazine featured his Maggie's Farm cartoon from 1978, as afterward did London's City Limits magazine; The Guardian: contributed the If cartoon from 1981, becoming principle cartoonist, 1990's to present
